Walking with Roshy

Stand up to Cancer Walkies Challenge 2023 - Day Three

3.84 miles walked today

Evening walk number 1

Our first evening walk of the challenge. It was sunny and dry but a cold breeze was blowing. We headed to the local playing field, near the sports centre and did a lap of the field. With the Easter holidays just begining the field had a few kids playing football and riding scooters.

Reluctant to let Roshy off the lead, I kept him on and headed out and made our way to the top of the hill. I was going to head to Northumberland Heath Recreation Ground but changed my mind and headed back in a loop to the playing field we had left. The little walk had paid off, the field was empty so I could let Roshy off the lead.

Roshylooking at the Sun setting

Roshy had a good sniff around and then wanted to a few rounds of fetch.

Hopefully it stays dry and sunny for the rest of the week.
