Where was the rain ?
Walk 1
Yesterday, the weather forecast was showing it was going to be raining.
So I planned to do a local walk and left out early.
We headed for Martens Grove via Burstead woods. Burstead woods is a great place to walk dogs but its best they are kept on a lead. It was very muddy with all the rain we have had recently and you could hear lots of bird song and in the woods and the local Woodpecker were busy tapping away protecting his territory. The rain held off and we had a nice walk.
We reached Martens Grove and wandered round but had to turn back as steep muddy hill looked very slippery. We followed the path back to the openspace by the basketball court and I threw the ball for Roshy.
We then headed back home hoping it would not rain on the way home.
Walk 2
With the clouds looking grey, we headed out for our second walk of the day. With the evenings now staying lighter for longer, this is regular walk I do with Roshy over the spring and summer.
A few laps of the Rugby Club playing fields and plenty of ball throwing for Roshy.
